Nepal Sanskrit University (once in the past Janendra Sanskrit University), set up in December 1986, has its focal office at Jandjhundi in Lang locale of Eastern Development Region, Nepal, which is 13 km from the home office, Ghorahi.
The college offers Intermediate (Uttar Madhyama), Bachelor (Shastri), Bachelor of Education, Masters (Acharya) and Doctoral courses in traditional and advanced subjects. It offers transitional in Ayurveda and dense courses for Ayurvedacharya. The college has 12 constituent and 13 partnered Vidhyapithas (grounds) around the nation.
